Customize your Starshade by adding side panels for privacy or extra protection against wind, rain, or sun. Each panel is equipped with a zipper door.  Side Panels typically come in white or transparent and can be purchased in any color or quantity, so mix and match them as you wish to customize your party tent any way you want.

The conical shape of the StarShade and large archways are exceptionally wind resistant.  Side panels can be added to any or all archways to add privacy and protection from sun and rain.  Note that adding side panels reduces wind resistance by preventing wind from passing through the structure – the large flat surfaces of the side panels can act as a sail on a ship – catching the wind and exerting force on the stakes and poles that maintain the integrity of the structure.  Always position side panels on the windward side of the Starshade.  Always position entryways perpendicular to the prevailing wind.  Never leave a Starshade unattended with side panels in place.
